How to Become a Foster

Getting started is easy! Simply complete our Foster Application, and a member of our all-volunteer team will review it and reach out as soon as we can. Since we're 100% volunteer-run with no paid staff or phone line, response times can vary, but we do our best to get back to every applicant as quickly as possible — thank you for your patience.

As part of our approval process, all foster applicants are required to complete a home inspection before a cat or kitten is placed in their care. This helps us ensure every animal is entering a safe, secure, and loving environment where they can thrive.

Once approved, we'll work with you to find a foster cat or kitten that best matches your home, experience, and comfort level. Whether you can foster for a few weeks or several months, every foster home makes a life-saving difference.
